Our Tailored Fit Experience
Our process kicks off with a one-on-one chat to pinpoint your riding goals and challenges. From there, we assess your skeletal structure and flexibility to understand your body’s range. Then, we measure your bike’s geometry to capture its current setup. Using this info, we craft a WN Precision CAD Blueprint customized for your ride. This detailed plan pinpoints exact adjustments—like cleat placement on your shoes, saddle position, and the reach to your handlebars. As we dial in these specs, we collaborate with you to tweak handlebar height and angle, plus brake and shifter placement, aligning every contact point to your unique motion and riding style. Expect the initial session to run 2.5 to 3 hours, with a follow-up visit included to ensure everything’s perfect.
Cleat Placement
Cycling’s popularity is soaring, but its repetitive motion can cause problems if cleats are too far forward, leading to foot pain from nerve and blood vessel pressure. The legs power the bike, handling heavy joint loads that can wear down tissues and cause knee pain. The shoe-pedal connection is key—done right, it boosts efficiency; done wrong, it piles on harmful stress. Historically, studies overlooked this link, despite common leg injuries. New pedal designs with “float” let the foot rotate slightly, cutting injury risk, easing knee strain, and keeping performance strong.
